Facility Development
The professional staff of Campus Facility Development are responsible
for
- Planning, design, and development of all large
construction projects and renovations, including
capital projects
- Management of all large construction and renovation
projects, including capital projects
- Design, development and management of projects
to renovate or remodel existing facilities and
infrastructure
- Oversight of all project work contracted to outside
professionals
- Space utilization management for the university,
including maintaining an inventory of the facilities,
processing requests for space, and maintaining
records required for grants and contracts administration
- Ensuring that all new construction and modifications
of existing structures and systems comply with
all applicable federal, state and local regulations,
as well as with the university policies and guidelines

Ellsworth
Hall Renovation
A desire to consolidate and improve several student service functions has
prompted a mini-renovation to Ellsworth Hall. |

Central Kohrman Classrooms Renovation
Project to renovate former classrooms, labs, and offices as general-use
university classroom. Project is part two of the planned renovations
and upgrades to Kohrman Hall; part one was the renovation of South
Kohrman for the School of Art. |

Bernhard Center Renovation
A long-needed project to create a north-south public corridor within
the building. The project will also renovate office space on the
north side of the building for the Division of Student Affairs. |
